The difference between English being writer-responsible in contrast with Italian being reader-responsible, is very interesting and enlightening to me. I speak no other languages besides English, but I was deployed to Italy for lengthy months to fly missions over Bosnia and Croatia in 1993-1994. There I learned to admire the flow and beauty of the language. I've long been attracted to learning Italian, and just only that, with some humor that it's a real passion of impracticality, rather than some utilitarian compromise to do the expedient more common language learning. Long live the Italian language. Thanks for the enjoyable to read article.
